Decentralized Market Agent as new Role at the Energy Market

ECHO: Enhancing Chronic patients’ Health Online (current project)

Very frequently, chronic Disease patients (e.g. chronic respiratory ailments) do not have regular and frequent communication with their physicians, as they should, for various reasons: lack of time, economic difficulties or negligence; this in turn may induce exacerbation of their chronic condition and possible hospital admission. On the other hand, closer connectivity of humans and systems, through use of the latest technologies of smart-phones, clouds and intelligent data mining, can ensure uninterrupted care and chronic ailment crisis avoidance. We propose an integrated solution that connects chronic patients to their physicians through a cloud infrastructure and online services, and a mobile application, thereby enabling regular monitoring of patients and avoidance of medical emergencies.

S-Cube (2011)

S-Cube, the European Network of Excellence in Software Services and Systems, will establish an integrated, multidisciplinary, vibrant research community. This will enable Europe to lead the software-services revolution, thereby helping shape the software-service based Internet which is the backbone of our future interactive society.

MASTER (2010-2011)

The EU project MASTER aims at providing methodologies and infrastructures that facilitate the monitoring, enforcement, and audit of quantifiable indicators on the security of a business process, and that provide manageable assurance of the security levels, trust levels and regulatory compliance of highly dynamic service- oriented architecture in centralized, distributed (multidomain), and outsourcing contexts.
