We are pleased to announce that Dr. Ilche Georgievski successfully completed his habilitation on June 25, 2025, earning the venia legendi in Computer Science.
As part of the procedure, Dr. Georgievski delivered an inaugural lecture on enhancing the usability, reliability, and real-world applicability of AI planning. His talk addressed key topics such as realistic domain modelling, modular planning architectures, and the application of engineering principles. He highlighted his contributions in areas ranging from risk awareness in hierarchical task network (HTN) planning to lifecycle methodologies and composable planning systems.
From now on, Dr. Georgievski will teach at the institute as a Privatdozent.
